Marucho has been manufacturing products for 65 years since their foundation, maximizing accumulated know-how and especially focusing on the products for leading brands made in Japan. Marucho has their own factory group, MARUCHO-WORKS of 6 factories, each of which manufactures specialized items: T-shirts, shirts, jackets, pants and coats. They are continuously reinforcing equipment for each factory to improve technique. They have also SMART FACTORY specialized for custom-made orders of small lot and various items.


・Pattern technique sharpened day to day
７patterners keep regularly holding study meeting to improve their technique and actively participate in seminars and outside study meetings. They are developing various technique such as making silhouette to fit with the materials and the times, three-dimensional pattern accommodated with motion and tailoring technique. They are researching the body for cutting and draping to realize the silhouette responding to the changing demands of clients. They also propose detailed arranging of sewing machine such as the number of needles, tension level of threads and kinds of threads and needles. They are also excellent at sewing to join the different kinds of textiles (e.g. knitting fabric and woven fabric), managing different shrink factor.

・Original manufacturing methods
They are always seeking for challenging methods for manufacturing: development of new textiles by collaborating with flat knitting manufacturers, new manufacturing methods by cooperating with factories and new sewing methods by modified sewing machine in their own factory.

・Stabilizing production cost and cost deduction
They are always making efforts to decrease defective products in their factories, actively utilizing the third-party inspection. In order to provide the high-quality products at reasonable price, they are always aiming to stabilize and reduce production cost.
