The 3^rd TOKYO KNIT brand certification board took place in November 2020. The following is the profile of three companies newly certificated through the strict certification process by seven certification review board members.

◆Kinan Knitting Corporation

Kinan Knitting Corporation is a manufacturer of knit/jersey fabric and products which has a history of around 90 years and three business facilities in Japan. Based on the production base at the factory of their headquarters in Wakayama prefecture manufacturing the original fabric, Tokyo office and Nagoya office are selling the fabric to apparel brands/retail stores and manufacturing the knit products as OEM. They are seeking for “Made in Japan-quality”, developing new fabric and inventing dyeing method to maximize the characteristic of the material every season, based on the seasonal material-theme. They are also developing the recycle material and ecological material as part of efforts to sustainability.

◆Dextra Co.,Ltd.

Dextra specialize on knit and jersey products mainly for Japan domestic markets.
They create design and manufacture the products for the brands. The main clients are department stores, young casual fashion stores, and specialty stores. 80% of the products are for women’s and 20% are for men’s. They also work on OEM and ODM operations.
From 2018, Dextra started developing WHOLEGARMENT® products made in Japan
to US active sports markets.

Dextra has a great relationship with 16 factories in China. Based on the over 10 years of experience, Dextra use them mainly for OEM operations.

Dextra has partnership with 10 factories in Japan ,mainly for WHOLEGARMENT® products, located at Tokyo, Yamanashi/Nagano prefectures, Izumiotsu city, and Tohoku region. Higuchi Textile Industries is planning, manufacturing and selling the chic wear for women. They also manufacture products as OEM at their own factory in Akita prefecture.

They have 7 original brands mainly sold through TV shopping and catalogues of Japanese department stores.

Higuchi Textile Industries is always seeking for the products of “Made in Higuchi - Quality” manufactured by Japanese workers at their own factory, using the original fabrics made of the material highly selected from the world.
