TOKYO KNIT has started “TOKYO KNIT Products Certification System” indicated for the products of TOKYO KNIT certificated companies in FY2023. This system, indicated for the products manufactured by TOKYO KNIT certificated companies, guarantees the quality of products, and certificates the products by original criteria such as quality, techniques and creativity of material and sewing, consideration for sustainability, etc.

At the TOKYO KNIT products certification board held on February 5, 2024, 12 products were certificated as TOKYO KNIT brand. Certificates of TOKYO KNIT products certification are published as NFT, the leading-edge method utilizing block chain technology which is becoming mainstream in the world, to disclose the traceability of the products. Certificates of NFT are browsable on the NFT market place operated by SNFT, Inc via QR code printed on hang tag.

Not only information of traceability but also that to tell attractiveness and back-ground story are discribed in the NFT certificate.

Tokyo Knit Fashion Association, TKF, certificates the member companies of TKF that meet the certain criteria as certificated companies of TOKYO KNIT brand through the certification review board composed of experts (Chairperson: Shinichi Mizuno), under the theme of branding technology.
