In FY2023, TOKYO KNIT collaborate with “Cho Judai -Ultra Teens“.  TOKYO KNIT takes aim to beam its attractiveness to all generations through collaboration with Generation Z who will deliver the future. Also, TOKYO KNIT has started the project to create the clothes utilizing artworks by artists with disabilities. In addition, TOKYO KNIT is working on the system to certify the products, using the blockchain technology, as new attempt with digital technology. Fashion show “TOKYO LOVE KNIT” will be held in February 2024, as compilation of FY20223 activities.

Major programs of FY2023:
(1)Collaboration by TOKYO KNIT ×”Cho-Judai -Ultra Teens“ 
TOKYO KNIT will collaborate with Cho-Judai corporation which produces events to Generation Z, YouTube programs and official goods. and use 6 influencers of Generation Z who will beam what they feel by directly touching high-quality products of TOKYO KNIT. These 6 influencers will produce original clothes, collaborating with TOKYO KNIT certificated companies, and post the process of creating original clothes on their own social media.

(2)Collaboration with artists with disabilities
6 TOKYO KNIT certificated companies create clothes, utilizing artworks by artists with disabilities, by gathering their great techniques together. High-quality techniques of TOKYO KNIT sustaining the knit industry in Tokyo which has been lasting since Edo period face the talents of artists with disabilities, not being caught in stereotype. It is the project that takes aim to show ultimately new value to the world. Fukufukuplus corporation with a proven track record in the domain of outsider arts, such as Shibuya Font, will be responsible for artists management.

〈Fashion Show “TOKYO LOVE KNIT” 〉
As an opportunity to show compilation of FY2023 activities, fashion show, “TOKYO LOVE KNIT“, will be held in February 2024. 6 influencers of Generation Z will walk down a runway, wearing clothes designed by themselves. Also, other attractive programs will take place, such as the presentation of clothes by collaboration between TOKYO KNIT certificated companies and artists with disabilities and talk show on which 6 influencers of Cho-Judai will appear.

(3)Start of “Product Certification System”
TOKYO KNIT will start “Product Certification System” based on its original criteria of certification regarding quality, techniques, and creativity of products. This system will not only ensure the quality of products but convey background stories of products. Detailed information of certificated products will be made as NFT (Non-fungible token) to disclose traceability information of products to customers.
