TOKYO KNIT Exhibition 2022 ended as success.

TOKYO KNIT Exhibition 2022 was held during 3 days from 24th to 26th February at Hikarie Shibuya and ended as huge success with 555 visitors including apparel related guests, journalists, and general visitors.

This exhibition was composed of 4 booths: original brands, designer collaboration, OEM/ODM textile clothing materials, and sustainable action. It was great opportunity for visitors to fully feel and see the attractiveness of TOKYO KNIT (gathered by various manufacturing companies) and their honed techniques,


Booth of collaboration works with BED j.w. FORD

6 TOKYO KNIT certificated companies supported the collection of BED j.w. FORD, one of the representative men’s brands in Tokyo. A part of looks was exhibited at the site. Please see the detailed information about collaboration work, here.

Booths of original brands

The products of original brands by 11 TOKYO KNIT certificated companies were exhibited. The lineup was varied: women’s fashion, men’s fashion, kids’ fashion, and lifestyle goods. The products manufactured with meticulous attention to detail by techniques cultivated through OEM/ODM business were viewed with interest by not only apparel related guests but also general visitors.

Booths of OEM/ODM, textile, and clothing materials

17 TOKYO KNIT certificated companies, dyeing, printing, textile, yearn/thread, clothing materials, and OEM/ODM, participated in the exhibition to show essential activities by TOKYO KNIT supporting Japanese manufacturing: sustainable materials and sustainable activities, through the products, movies, and panels.

Booth of sustainable action

“Recycloop project” by 3 TOKYO KNIT certificated companies was exhibited for the first time. Two large T-shirts made of materials recycled by cutting waste (textile) were exhibited. Schematic diagram of recycle was printed on T-shirts.
