The 4th TOKYO KNIT brand certification board took place in September 2021. The following is the profile of three companies newly certificated through the strict certification process by six certification review board members.

【Sugita Meriyasu Industries Co.,Ltd.】

Sugita Meriyasu Industries is manufacturing the products with great “Made in Japan” quality. They promptly make the samples into the high-quality products, utilizing the fabrics made in Japan, great techniques, and refined clothing patterns. They aspire to become the company who makes employees, clients, and customers happy by the motto: Seeking for the beauty. 

【TANI SENI, Inc.】

TANI SENI is the manufacturing jersey products at their own factory located at Edogawa ward of Tokyo. They are providing the products “made in Tokyo, doing not only planning works but also manufacturing works at their head office in Tokyo. As most of manufacturing companies in Tokyo don’t have their factories in Tokyo recently, the business style of TANI SENI, extremely is rare over Japan, is highly valued by domestic and international clients.

While dividing works have been expanded in the fashion manufacturing industry, TANI SENI is exercising all process of manufacturing works by themselves, selecting materials, knitting fabrics, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and finalizing products. They are flexible to deal with various orders from their clients, based on their accumulated experience for longtime.

As TANI SENI is placing a huge emphasis on the texture of fabric created by knitting machine, they have been developing their original fabrics, utilizing the loop wheel knitting machine that has a 100-year history. They also have a variety of vintage sewing machines.

The products and fabrics manufactured by TANI SENI with specific texture are attracting not only apparel companies but also other types of clients such as hotels and artists.         

【Needle Co.,Ltd.】

Needle is mainly manufacturing knitting products for men and women as OEM. They are also working for designers, thinking together how to effectively make the design into the products, selecting yarn, gages etc. They can promptly deal with requests from clients, having their own factory in Tokyo. Which is another their strong point.

Recently, works with clients who don’t have knowledge about knit such as start-up EC apparel companies and with influencers in their twenties have been increasing.
